Ingredients

(500 mL) scratch big batch beef


(500 mL) spaghetti sauce


(250 mL) Green Giant* Valley Selections* California Mix frozen vegetables


(500 mL) grape tomatoes halved


lasagna noodles


(175 mL) ricotta cheese


(50mL) grated Parmesan cheese


salt and pepper to taste

Directions

Combine

Combine SCRATCH BIG BATCH BEEF and spaghetti sauce and Green Giant* Valley Selections* California Mix frozen vegetables in medium saucepan, cover and simmer over medium heat, stirring occasionally until hot, 10 to 15 minutes. Remove from heat, stir grape tomatoes, halved

Meanwhile

Meanwhile cook lasagna noodles according to package directions, cut each crosswise into 3 pieces, set aside. In small bowl, combine ricotta cheese, grated Parmesan cheese and salt and pepper.

Assemble

To assemble scoop some hot beef mixture onto each of the 4 plates and top each with 2 noodle pieces overlapping. Top each with a spoonful of ricotta mixture, followed by more beef mixture. Repeat noodle, ricotta and beef layers (there will be two extra noodle pieces left over). Garnish each with a sprinkling of grated Parmesan and some fresh basil if you wish.
