Meetings and Interaction Space

The Centre contains a 24 seat boardroom/meeting room for formal presentations. The boardroom can open up into our demonstration theatre which accommodates 24 in an interactive learning environment.

Our beef cutting and demonstration area is a Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP) oriented facility with up-to-date equipment and technology. All the educational and meeting spaces are linked via AV (cameras, microphones and screens) allowing for full global broadcast capabilities for off-site clients around the world.

Consumer Demonstration and Test Kitchen

Helping today’s busy consumer be comfortable and successful with Canadian beef is an important foundation for our industry’s success. The Centre is equipped with a full consumer oriented kitchen area including an outdoor barbecue for grilling preparations.

This area is designed for developing consumer recipes, filming consumer cooking videos, conducting food photography and live cooking demonstrations, which can be broadcast on websites to audiences anywhere.

With seating for 20, this theatre is the epicentre of product creativity and interaction. From menu ideation with foodservice clients to retail cutting and merchandising, the theatre can be configured to meet a wide range of specific client needs. The Centre’s retail meat case allows clients to visualize just what products may look like in their stores.

Commercial Kitchen

The Centre recognizes the opportunity with the global foodservice sector. Foodservice clients at the Centre have access to the most up-to-date equipment including combi ovens; induction cooking and sous vide options. This forum will act as the testing ground for new and innovative beef menu options.

The Beef Fabrication Room

This facility has been designed with a fully functional HACCP plan, clearly demonstrating Canada’s commitment to world class food safety standards. This is an area that will allow product cutting and specification standards to be developed by clients and their packer partners.

The Beef Fabrication Room also allows for specific work such as beef yield testing, product quality assessment and specific muscle identification and product development.
