![]() Canadian beef featured on dinner cruise The Canada Beef International Institute (CBII) in Japan has partnered with Symphony, one of Japan’s most popular dinner cruise ships, to promote Canadian beef at their buffet restaurant during the Canadian Beef Fair, from October 2025 to March 2026. The main menu features roast beef, meatloaf, and beef bourguignon. Additionally, Symphony will create a special holiday dinner menu highlighting Canadian beef striploin and tenderloin. ![]() To support this promotion, Symphony is producing 60,000 promotional brochures, along with placemats, posters, pop-up banners, and flags that showcase the Canadian beef brand. The CBII Japan team is coordinating cross-marketing activities and will promote the event through Instagram posts from each organization’s account. Symphony, a long-time customer of Canadian beef, has supported the Canadian Beef Fair since 2011. They anticipate serving 260,000 passengers in 2025, representing a 10% increase from 2024. Canadian beef featured at Hyundai factory cafeteria Hyundai Green Food, one of Korea’s leading food catering companies, has launched two varieties of Galbitang (Korean beef short rib soup) under the slogan “A Hearty Meal.” The offerings include Herbal Short Rib Soup with Korean medicinal herbs and Spicy Short Rib Soup, both featuring Canadian beef back ribs. ![]() On August 14 and September 17, approximately 40,000 employees at 30 Hyundai Heavy Industries restaurants and 30,000 employees at 23 Hyundai Motor factory restaurants enjoyed these special Galbitang offerings. Feedback from employees was overwhelmingly positive, with many praising the meat's tenderness and rich flavour. Since 2023, Hyundai Green Food has added Canadian back ribs and flat iron cuts to its menu. Due to strong employee demand, Galbitang made with Canadian back ribs is now regularly served across its restaurant network. Hyundai Green Food provides over 650,000 meals daily across more than 600 institutional restaurants in Korea, including those in factories, offices, universities, and hospitals. Additionally, the company serves over 100,000 meals daily at 90 overseas locations in seven countries.
