![]() Canadian beef showcased at Seoul and Busan hotels On September 1, leading hotels in Seoul and Busan launched a series of Canadian beef promotions that run to the end of October. The participating hotels include The Ambassador Seoul Pullman Hotel, Mayfield Hotel in Seoul, and Lotte Hotel in Busan. The promotions allow diners in Korea to experience premium grain-fed Canadian beef in creative culinary presentations. ![]() The Ambassador Seoul Pullman Hotel’s executive chef, along with well-known YouTube influencers and culinary figures, travelled to Canada in August to experience local ingredients firsthand. Inspired by their visit, including a stop at the Canadian Beef Centre of Excellence, they developed interesting interpretations of Canadian beef cuts. Dishes featuring short ribs, back ribs, finger meat, flat iron, chuck flap tail and short plate are served at several outlets, including The King’s Buffet Restaurant, 1955 Groceria and The Lounge & Bar. Read more about this mission here. Meanwhile, the Mayfield Hotel is presenting a variety of Canadian beef dishes at its Castle Terrace buffet restaurant. Diners can enjoy Korean BBQ short ribs, strip loin steak, beef stroganoff, black pepper beef stir-fry and beef lasagna. In Busan, Lotte Hotel offers an equally impressive lineup at its La Seine buffet and Blue Haven casual dining restaurant, featuring specialties such as roasted beef, charcoal-grilled beef, Mongolian beef and beef stroganoff. The promotions are marketed across hotel websites, YouTube, Instagram and other media channels. The enthusiastic participation of renowned chefs in showcasing Canadian beef is seen as an encouraging sign for the future of Canadian beef in these markets. Canadian beef featured in steak restaurant Gyuemon, a regional steak restaurant chain with 10 locations in Japan’s Nagasaki Prefecture, presented a Canadian beef promotion from May 25 to August 25, 2025. Offered on the main menu, the promotional meal was called Canadian Barbecue Steak. ![]() Gyuemon produced 100,000 promotional flyers along with placemats, posters, pop-up banners, and flags all featuring the Canadian beef brand. Canada Beef’s Japan team coordinated cross-marketing activities and shared the promotion via Instagram and posts from each organization’s account.
