 Canada Beef’s Nutrition team recently launched a new video to highlight the nutritional value of beef. The goal was to create a broad, foundational video about beef’s remarkable nutrition story in an engaging and easy-to-follow format for consumers.  The theme is “Delicious and nutritious, beef is a meal maker and nutrition A-lister. Discover beef’s often untold nutrition story in this upbeat and lively look at what beef delivers.”  The video was first screened at the Canada Beef booth during the recent Canadian Beef Industry Conference. Going forward, this video will be featured on social media, in digital advertising, and posted to the Taste Canada nutrition education hub. It will be featured in an upcoming Make it Beef newsletter to consumers and included in the Beef Advocacy curriculum; it will also be incorporated into the Beef Information Gateway program. The video run time is 2:25 and there are two versions available including one with captions made for trade shows and digital programs. A French version is in development. The video is available for stakeholder use. The content has gone through a regulatory review and has been fact-checked by Canada Beef’s Nutrition Expert Advisory committee.
