 Canada Beef at Food & Hospitality Indonesia 2025 Canada Beef Taiwan/Southeast Asia/Hong Kong/Macao office participated in the Food & Hospitality Indonesia (FHI) exhibition in Jakarta from July 22 – 25, 2025, together with a local importer. The four-day event attracted approximately 36,000 visitors, providing an excellent opportunity to showcase Canadian beef. Attendees were able to experience its exceptional quality and flavour through product displays and daily sampling. FHI proved to be an outstanding platform for networking with importers, many of whom showed strong interest in introducing Canadian beef to the Indonesian market. The team also engaged with retailers and restaurateurs, promoting the Canadian Beef Advantage and paving the way for potential future collaborations in the region.   Indonesia’s large, young, and urbanized population is driving sustained demand for high-quality animal protein. Due to the country’s significant Muslim population, beef holds an important place in the local diet. Currently, Canada has two halal certification bodies recognized by Indonesian authorities, creating more export opportunities for Canadian suppliers. Canada Beef retail activities in Hanoi, Vietnam Canada Beef Taiwan/Southeast Asia/Hong Kong/Macao office partnered with major importers and retailers to launch a series of summer sales programs at BRG Mart, Lotte Mart, and Lan Chi supermarkets in Hanoi, Vietnam, from July 27, 2025. These events also provided an opportunity for partners to meet Canada Beef President, Eric Bienvenue, during his visit to Southeast Asia at the end of July 2025. During the events, clients and guests had the opportunity to hear Bienvenue’s insights on the market, as well as Canada Beef's plans and expectations for the Vietnamese market. Activities such as prize-winning trivia games and live cooking demonstrations by renowned chefs allowed visitors to experience Canadian beef firsthand. The events attracted over 1,000 visitors, significantly boosting Canadian beef's brand recognition among Vietnamese consumers.
