![]() Canadian beef seminar presented to foodservice distributor in Tokyo Canada Beef International Institute (CBII) Japan partnered with Kuze, a foodservice distributor, to provide a Canadian beef seminar in April 2024 at the Kuze headquarters in Tokyo. The two-hour seminar was also broadcast as a webinar, and over 50 sales managers and representatives from Kuze’s sales offices across Japan participated. The seminar began with a presentation by CBII Japan Senior Director Ichiro Kiyotomi. His presentation focused on Canadian beef farming practices, information about animal health, food safety, grading standards, and the quality of Canadian beef. The seminar was followed by a Canadian beef tasting session prepared by Kuze’s contracted chefs. ![]() The seminar was interactive, and participants posed a number of questions, resulting in a dialogue featuring a wide range of subjects relevant to the food industry professionals.
