Canada Beef has produced a comprehensive style guide to provide guidance when writing recipes for consumer audiences for all cuts of Canadian beef. The guide is helpful for label, print and digital media formats and platforms and an excellent resource for those writing recipes for consumers to cook at home, including social media influencers. Canada Beef Executive Director, Consumer Marketing, Joyce Parslow said the style guide provides a standardized approach to recipe writing to ensure consistency and positive outcomes. “Many people love to create recipes using Canadian beef and these recipes are often shared online by home cooks, social media influencers and foodies. We wanted to support these efforts by providing a resource that will help to ensure the best possible eating experience.” The Style Guide provides detailed information on best-method cooking instructions and standardized recipe formats for Canadian beef. “Canada Beef has done much recipe testing, lab analysis, sensory work and consumer research to ensure we offer the best possible direction for using our product. Now the style guide enables us to share this essential information with anyone creating Canadian beef recipes, so they can experience positive outcomes at mealtime. The guide also aligns with Health Canada guidelines for food safety,” said Parslow. View the guide in a flipbook format here.
