![]() Canada Beef at Expo ANTAD 2025 Canada Beef Latin American and Mexico (LATAM) participated at Expo ANTAD 2025, held March 25-57, in Guadalajara, Mexico. With approximately 50,000 attendees, the event served as a strategic platform to strengthen relationships with key players across the region’s food industry. LATAM presented a variety of visual and informational materials designed to reinforce the visibility of Canadian beef in Latin American markets. The content focused on core values, supporting greater awareness of the Canadian beef industry and its commitment to excellence. The booth featured a Canadian packer and a foodservice distributor, who contributed to strengthening commercial engagement and reinforcing the connection between Canadian exporters and the Mexican market. Their participation supported conversations around product availability, supply capabilities, and the added value of Canadian beef in foodservice and retail channels. ![]() Canada Beef’s brand ambassador conducted live cooking sessions and tastings of various Canadian beef cuts, allowing visitors to experience the product firsthand. The Canadian beef samples were prepared using professional foodservice equipment from leading manufacturers, ensuring each cut was prepared in a way that enhanced the flavour and texture of the beef. LATAM held discussions with national and foreign buyers, as well as representatives of the Mexican Meat Council, and welcomed Deputy Minister, Agriculture and Irrigation (Government of Alberta) Jason Hale to the booth. The focus of these discussions was on the growing importance of traceability and product differentiation through origin and quality. These are essential topics, given that consumer expectations around transparency are steadily increasing. Participation in Expo ANTAD 2025 contributed to Canada Beef’s ongoing efforts to strengthen its positioning in Latin America and explore new opportunities for collaboration in markets where trust, consistency, and origin are key drivers of value.
