![]() Canada Beef at Agribition Canada Beef and Saskatchewan Cattlemen’s Association (SCA) partnered on a Canadian beef cooking stage at this year’s Agribition. The stage was called ‘Every Day with Beef’ and ran November 25-30, 2024. The team organized five cooking lessons a day for a total of 30 lessons; the lessons were presented by Canada Beef Executive Director, Digital Marketing (and home economist) Michele McAdoo well-known local TV cooking personality CJ Katz, local chefs and 4-H members who demonstrated their recipes. The culinary stage and cooking lessons were well attended with over 250 recipe resources distributed during the show. ![]() The event encompassed themes of cooking on a budget, making the most of beef, and leftovers. Participants presented recipes that highlighted different economical cuts of beef, ways to use leftovers and how to repurpose recipes. The SCA team created a booklet highlighting the recipes presented during the show. ![]() Canada Beef provided various booth backdrops, tables and Canadian beef resources. The team highlighted the Canadian Beef Information Gateway noting how consumers can scan barcodes on packages of beef to gain access to the website. The Make the Most of Beef resource booklet was distributed to show attendees. This booklet is a handy guide to help consumers get the most value from the beef they buy with instructions plus video links on how to save on cost per pound by cutting your own roasts and steaks, how to package beef for freezing and more.
