 Canada Beef supports Gulf region promotions In October, Canada Beef supported three promotional initiatives over four days in the Gulf region. Canada Beef’s Vice President, Export Market Development, Albert Eringfeld, attended the three events. On October 9 in Dubai, Canada Beef collaborated with the Canadian Trade Commissioner Service in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) to support a chef training session and Canadian foodservice promotion. The goal was to provide local chefs with the opportunity to experience Canadian beef and receive training on its benefits, along with other premium Canadian ingredients and their innovative applications. This training session was followed by the launch of a Canada-focused menu at the partner hotel, Fairmont The Palm Dubai. On October 10, Canada Beef partnered with a local importer/distributor, to host a successful Canadian beef demand-building event in Abu Dhabi, UAE. This initiative attracted leading chefs and showcased several Canadian beef brands. The event included presentations and a dinner reception that highlighted the exceptional culinary qualities, versatility and flavour of Canada’s premium-quality grain-fed beef. On October 12 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, Canada Beef collaborated with a local importer/distributor to conduct a demand-building and educational event aimed at local chefs and restaurant owners. The objectives were to raise awareness of Canadian beef within the foodservice sector in Saudi Arabia and ultimately increase sales. The event featured informative presentations and a specially designed menu highlighting Canadian beef for the attending guests. View a video of the event.
