 Grandparents share insights with Make it Beef The Make it Beef Advisory Panel is a national community of engaged individuals who provide valuable insights to help Canada Beef better understand consumer opinions, attitudes, behaviours, and mealtime challenges. Each quarter, panel members share their perspectives through brief surveys that help inform recipe development, consumer resources, and strategic decision-making at Canada Beef. Recently, Canada Beef connected with grandparents on the panel to gain insights into how often they prepare meals for their grandchildren and which recipes could best support them in overcoming common mealtime challenges. Insights Over half (57.7%) of respondents say they often or sometimes cook for their grandchildren, and 37% have prepared school lunches for their grandchildren. When it comes to mealtime challenges, 57.3% said their biggest struggle is dealing with picky eaters, while 24.7% find it most challenging to come up with new meal ideas. 67.5% of respondents expressed interest in receiving nutritious, kid-friendly recipes featuring Canadian beef.
