Canada Beef hosted a booth at the Royal Agricultural Winter Fair at Toronto's Exhibition Place from November 1-10, 2024. Celebrating its 102nd year, the event showcases Canada's best foods, livestock, and horsemanship to over 300,000 people annually.

The Canada Beef booth featured a visually striking Canadian beef image as a backdrop, drawing in many visitors. Staff engaged with a diverse range of attendees, including consumers, home economics and family studies teachers, students, producers, and trade professionals. Attendees also had the opportunity to explore the Canadian Beef Information Gateway via a new interactive screen. Consumers’ reaction to the Gateway was overwhelmingly positive, and there was a lot of appreciation for the convenience and helpful information about all cuts of beef. The booth featured other interactive elements such as a prize wheel and colouring station to keep the kids occupied while parents chatted with staff about beef and the cattle industry.



Canada Beef participated in several culinary events during the fair, including three Canadian beef taste challenges.

Canada Beef also sponsored the Chef Table Dinner series, showcasing local chefs and featuring delicious Canadian beef dishes specially prepared for the event. A series of seven cooking lessons were also offered at Chef’s Table, where participants were guided by top Toronto chefs to cook beef in real-time, creating a hands-on learning experience for all to enjoy at the show or to take home for later.

Canada Beef thanks the staff and culinary experts who helped manage the booth and facilitate the cooking events, making this year's Royal Agricultural Winter Fair a success.
