![]() Canada Beef’s producer Facebook CanadaBeefInc and X @CanadaBeefInc Canada Beef is always looking for ways to engage with Canada’s beef producers. This newsletter is one way to learn about recent initiatives to increase demand for Canadian beef. Following Canada Beef’s producer social media channels is another way to connect with us, providing beef farmers and ranchers with a forum to share perspectives on raising cattle with kindred spirits—and followers who are unfamiliar with agriculture and curious about how beef is raised in Canada. Back in April, Canada Beef launched Facebook (CanadaBeefInc) and X (@CanadaBeefInc) for beef producer audiences and revised its suite of social channels for consumers to better serve the interests of the two distinct stakeholder groups. Since then, analytics indicate that the differentiated content created for beef producers on CanadaBeefInc and @CanadaBeefInc is resonating with followers. Top posts on CanadaBeefInc for the July to September 2025 period featured a short video of a perfectly camouflaged speckle-park cow-calf pair, a Canadian beef promotion in Japan of a popular product created from underutilized and secondary cuts to boost overall carcass values, and a post from a series on how to use opportunity cuts to keep beef at the centre of the dinner table. Top posts on @CanadaBeefInc showcased an inbound mission of Korean chefs and celebrities learning about Canadian beef, Farmworker Appreciation Day, and a recipe for little lasagnas perfect for back to school. ![]() Since inception, the content catching the most interest of CanadaBeefInc and @CanadaBeefInc followers includes short videos that capture and explain daily farm life activities, like moving cattle to fresh grass, checking pairs, fun clips of frolicking calves, examples of biodiversity and thriving ecosystems within an operation, and the stewardship philosophies of producers, including The Environmental Stewardship Awards candidates and national recipients. So, a big thank you to followers for engaging with Canada Beef’s producer social channels—and a request to producers to keep up the good work by contributing authentic perspectives for possible sharing on the producer and consumer social channels. Attitudinal consumer research continues to demonstrate a strong through line of Canadians viewing beef producers and farmers favourably. With the majority of Canadian consumers several generations removed from agriculture, this is a great opportunity for producers to share their story with an engaged audience. Please follow us on CanadaBeefInc and @CanadaBeefInc and DM us with your snaps and short videos showing farm life around your operation (and great plain-language audio explaining what’s going on) and what makes it special. Thank you for helping make Canada Beef’s producer social channels a success. Back to main page ![]() GINA TEEL Director, Stakeholder Communications |
