 Instacart now available with Gateway recipes The recent addition of the online grocery delivery service Instacart is helping the Canadian Beef Information Gateway (Gateway) deliver the goods. In addition to viewing beef recipes, ingredients and preparation methods on the Gateway digital platform, consumers can now also order the ingredients online and have Instacart deliver them directly to their doorstep. Providing convenient access to Instacart right from the Gateway platform ensures consumers can have all the necessary ingredients on hand to prep and cook beef recipes found on the Gateway. Here’s how it works: Instacart connects customers with local stores and personal shoppers through an app or website. Once an order is placed, Instacart sends the request to a personal shopper in the customer’s area, who then shops for the items and delivers the order. Customers can track the progress of their order and communicate with their shopper at every step using the Instacart app or website. Step-by-step instructions on how to order ingredients through Instacart are available at cdnbeef.ca.   The Gateway is a digital platform that provides information and tools for consumers, retailers, and the industry related to Canadian beef. Focusing on consumer education, the Gateway offers comprehensive information on over 70 beef cuts, including instructional videos, recipes, cooking tips, and nutritional facts. The platform also includes information on food safety, storage, and beef cut identification, complete with 3D images. Additionally, it features health-conscious recipes and world cuisine options to appeal to a diverse range of consumers, including new Canadians.
