Canadian Beef tasting day at LOTTE Mart Ho Chi Minh
LOTTE Mart, one of Vietnam’s largest international retail chains, collaborated with its Canadian beef supply partner to launch a Canadian Beef Tasting Day on August 10, 2024, in District 7, Ho Chi Minh City. This marks the first time LOTTE Mart has executed promotional activities featuring Canadian beef in Southern Vietnam.

Canadian Beef International Institute Taiwan, Southeast Asia, Hong Kong sponsored the event, offering consumers the opportunity to taste the finest quality beef cuts from Canada. Samples included rib finger, short plate, top blade, shank meat, and chuck roll. Kick-off activities featured sampling at the meat counter and product sales promotions to attract interest from consumers and shoppers.

Established in 2008, LOTTE Mart is one of the largest international retail chains in Vietnam, with 16 hypermarket stores and shopping malls targeting medium to high-class consumers. It is also one of the first brands to distribute Canadian beef through retail channels, thus introducing it to the Vietnamese public. This type of promotion provides Canadian beef with greater opportunities to expand awareness in the Vietnamese market.
