 Instagram influencer campaign posts picture perfect results A recent collaboration between Canada Beef and the Canadian Cattle Association Public and Stakeholder Engagement (PSE) programs used Instagram influencers to spread the word about sustainable beef production. The campaign “Good for you, great for the environment,” involved on-farm visits for five Instagram influencers. The campaign featured social media influencers visiting cattle producers from across Canada to explore the connection between beef production and sustainability in a fun and informative manner. Influencer Zane Caplansky, owner of Caplansky’s Restaurant at the Pearson Airport and former guest star on the Food Network, visited beef producer Keith Manders’s Garnet Valley Ranch in B.C. Caplansky also visited Kristine Tapley’s operation, Old Shore Cattle Company, in Manitoba. Influencer Dina Battistessa (@move.play.mom), a Calgary-area preschool owner and influencer, took her family for a visit at CL Ranches located in the foothills west of Calgary. Influencers Chef Antonio Park (@chefantoniopark), owner of several restaurants, visited Quebec’s Brylee Farms, CTV weather anchor, Michelle Jobin (@michelle.jobin), visited the Manning Family Farm in Nova Scotia and Apryl and Sarah (@thiskindalife) visited Ontario’s Dibbhurst Farms. The campaign proved popular and engagement met expectations, with more than 500K ad views on YouTube, a reach of over 190K on Instagram via the influencers, and more than 120K views of the full length videos on YouTube.
