![]() CBII China Partnership at Shanghai Wine & Dine Festival October 18-20 The Shanghai Wine & Dine Festival is the first large-scale food and wine festival presented in China. The promotion brings together different countries and regional participants and is targeted to 100,000 middle-high income consumers. The promotion is hosted by the Shanghai United Media Group – Shanghai Morning Post, one of the biggest media in Shanghai. CBII China participated at the Shanghai Wine Dine Festival with the following activities featuring the Canadian Beef brand: advertisements on brochure, brand video playing on stage screen, social media, Canadian Beef promotional materials, Canadian Beef cooking class. This provided an opportunity to build brand awareness via a huge media platform, attract hundreds of targeted consumers to experience the excellence of Canadian beef and explore potential business opportunities for Canadian beef. Canadian Beef Festival with Chongqing Bolian Hotel, Chongqing, September 12 – October 30 Canada Beef International Inc. (CBII) China partnered with the Bolian Resorts & Spa Group to support a Canadian beef festival at the Chongqing Bolian Hotel September 12 to October 30. The hotel featured Canadian beef on the menu along with other promotional activities. The promotion launched on September 12 with a special event attended by the Consul General and Consul of Canadian Consulate in Chongqing, together with VIPs and media. Forty people enjoyed the Canadian beef cooking demo and dinner to celebrate the launch of this promotion. The event supports building the awareness of the Canadian Beef brand in the Southwest China market by leveraging the reputation of the Bolian Hotel premium brand image while increasing sales. CBII China Partnership at CanCham 12th Annual Canadian Maple Leaf Ball, Shanghai, September 21 The CanCham (Canadian Chamber of Commerce, Shanghai) 12th Annual Canadian Maple Leaf Ball in Shanghai was held Sept 21. Over 300 guests were in attendance representing key stakeholders in Eastern China including local government officials, association representative’s leaders, local commercial partners, media, and other VIPs. CBII China partnered with CanCham, providing AAA Canadian beef striploin for the event. Promotional material that highlighted the Canadian Beef Advantage was displayed at the event, providing an opportunity to reach this influential audience.
