 Satoh Co. Tradeshow, Sendai, September 9 Canada Beef International Inc. (CBII) Japan partnered with Satoh Co., a major food distribution company in the Tohoku region, to present Canadian beef at Satoh’s private tradeshow. Held September 9, the tradeshow targeted the foodservice sector and had over 2,000 visitors. Sendai is the capital of Tohoku with a population of 9 million people providing a large market potential for Canadian beef. This show provided the opportunity to present Canadian beef’s quality and food safety standards to new customers and strategic partners.
Global Vision Seminar, Tokyo, September 11 CBII Japan partnered with Global Vision Inc. (GV), CBII’s strategic distribution partner, to deliver a Canadian beef educational seminar to wholesaler Nakajo Meat (a GV key customer). Thirty people attended the seminar and tasting session held in the Nakajo Meat test kitchen in Tokyo on September 11. Nakajo Meat is a meat wholesaler focused on foodservice customers—a market CBII Japan is targeting. Back to main page |
