 Canadian beef is always in style at Taiwan GQ Style Fest Canada Beef participated in Taiwan’s GQ Style Fest, one of Taiwan’s most high-profile lifestyle and fashion events, to showcase the premium quality of Canadian beef in a modern and trendy setting. This initiative aimed to connect Canadian beef with younger, lifestyle-driven consumers and strengthen its positioning as both a gourmet ingredient and part of a contemporary lifestyle. In addition to the collaboration with GQ, Canada Beef’s Taiwan staff also partnered with the popular local restaurant Sheep & Pony to create two exclusive Canadian beef dishes. These dishes were sold on-site during the event, allowing visitors to taste Canadian beef as well as experience its versatility in creative, chef-driven recipes. Through dual collaboration, Canadian beef gained significant exposure among fashion-forward, food-loving consumers. The campaign successfully reinforced the brand’s image as premium, versatile and aligned with modern food culture trends in Taiwan. Distributor training in Philippines Canada Beef’s Southeast Asia team conducted a seminar for importer/distributor Rare Global Food Philippines, led by Canada Beef Ambassador Chef Carlo Miguel. The session gathered 44 participants from various departments including sales, procurement, butchery and merchandising. The training provided a comprehensive overview of the Canadian beef grading system and an introduction to the Canadian Beef Advantage. To reinforce learning, Chef Miguel gave an in-depth butchery demonstration featuring chuck eye roll and top blade cuts, followed by a sampling session that highlighted the distinct quality and flavour of Canadian beef. This hands-on training enhanced participants’ product knowledge and equipped them to better communicate the value of Canadian beef to customers across the Philippine market.
