Canada Beef co-sponsors session at nutrition conference
Canada Beef, along with the Dairy Farmers of Canada, Egg Farmers of Canada, the Canadian Pork Council, and the Chicken Farmers of Canada, co-sponsored an educational session at this year’s Canadian Nutrition Society (CNS) annual conference. The conference took place May 2-4, 2024, in Edmonton.

The session, titled Ensuring Nutrient Adequacy for a Healthy and Sustainable Diet, featured two international experts, Professor Alice Stanton (Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland, University of Medicine and Health Sciences) and Dr. Bradley Ridoutt (Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation). Their presentation offered scientific evidence and insights into the critical role of animal-source foods in human health and sustainability.

Over 395 delegates attended the session, and feedback was positive. The session was marked as a favourite by many attendees.
