 Festival Parrillero del Caribe Canada Beef and Sigma Foodservice participated as sponsors of the first Grill Festival on July 29 at the Cenote Maravilla located in Puerto Morelos (Mayan Riviera). The Caribbean Barbecue Festival was designed as a gastronomic experience to celebrate the art of grilling led by the best chefs in Puerto Morelos and its neighbouring municipalities of Cancun, Playa del Carmen and Tulum. The festival brought together food lovers, grill masters, foodservice operators, hotel representatives, caterers, and vendors from across the region. It featured various activities, such as cooking demonstrations, grilling competitions, live music and a wide range of food and beverage vendors. The Grill Fest was organized by the President of the Quintana Roo Chefs Association and the President of the National Restaurant Chamber in Puerto Morelos to promote the diverse culinary options offered in Puerto Morelos. By supporting the Sigma distributor in this sponsorship, Canada Beef strengthened brand visibility through exposure on the festival’s banners, signage, and promotional materials. Sigma offered over 100 kgs of Canadian chuck roll, flap meat, ribeye, and short rib samples to more than 250 festival goers, allowing them to experience the quality and taste of Canadian beef firsthand. The festival provided an excellent platform for networking with other sponsors, vendors, and industry professionals, fostering potential collaborations and partnerships. The event organizers actively promoted Canada Beef and Sigma Foodservice on their social media platforms, increasing Canada Beef’s online presence and reaching a wider audience. Throughout the festival, Canada Beef’s brand ambassador Chef Federico Lopez and his team engaged with attendees, answered their questions, and provided information about Canadian cuts and the Canadian Beef Advantage. Sigma’s team provided information about the available beef cuts and presentations. This direct interaction created the opportunity to establish a positive reputation within that community.
