Canadian Beef Industry Conference – Behind the Scenes: CBCE Pivots to the Virtual
CBCE participated online at the Canadian Beef Industry Conference, the foremost annual beef industry conference in Canada. This year the conference was delivered virtually. CBCE provided pre-recorded interviews and documentary as well as a live video production presentation during their CBIC webinar slot. CBCE identified the efforts taken to develop and deliver valuable technical resources to industry while continuing to build value for Canadian beef producers.

CBCE Video Production


The Canadian Beef Centre of Excellence (CBCE) has embraced the current need for digital training resources and increased distance learning opportunities. In order to provide online video training for retail, foodservice and Canadian beef and Canadian veal enthusiasts CBCE has created a technical video library aimed at teaching foundational and innovative skills to industry professionals. The video library can be found at cdnbeefperforms/videos.

From sub-primal butchery to grilling and roasting know-how, the CBCE team leverages their expertise to optimize Canadian beef product performance and deliver exceptional eating experience, all captured on video to share with industry and home cooks.

There are four categories in the video library including Pro Butcher, Pro Chef, Home Butcher, Home Chef and there are currently 48 videos available to view.
