![]() #mycanadianbeef campaign As mentioned in a previous e-newsletter, using third party influencers and media sources provides Canada Beef with the opportunity to target and develop new audiences. We once again worked with Daily Hive, Curiocity and Eat North. Given the summer months, the consumer marketing team worked with each media source to create customized topics, articles, photoshoots and web information around the theme of summer and grilling and beef knowledge. Traditional summer themes around food gatherings such as family reunions and potlucks are not possible this year so we approached the article themes around grilling beef knowledge and preparing food for “your bubble of family and friends”. Eat North The team at Eat North created an article highlighting the Team Canada Butcher team who will represent Canada at the World Butcher Challenge August 2021. This article highlights top tips from each butcher along with beef information and know-how tips from the Canadian Beef website. Check out the article here. ![]() Curiocity This article focused on the "guide to essential barbecuing" in Toronto. This guide highlights various locations, businesses and markets in the Toronto area. Canada Beef provides the beef knowledge and recipe information. Check out the article here. Besides the web articles for this campaign, Canada Beef was able to secure new images. Curiocity managed the photography logistics and the images are the rights of Canada Beef. The digital team will be able to highlight these images on the canadabeef.ca website and social media posts. ![]() Daily Hive This article started with beef being the centre of the plate and working out from there. Helping novice barbecue grillers to master grillers. Topics covered included amounts of beef to purchase (a frequent consumer question), types of cuts (trying a different cut) and grilling techniques. ![]() Cook Dinner Together The digital team created 3 short videos called “Cook Dinner Together.” These videos (available in both English and French) highlight moments of joy when families come together to cook and enjoy dinner. These videos are highlighted on social platforms. You can view them at the following links.
