Canada Beef deploys many initiatives to encourage beef consumption. Developing fact-based resources helps to build awareness about topics often in the consumer space, such as cattle’s contribution to the environment and the role of beef’s many nutrients in supporting optimum human health. Four new sets of infographics are now available for stakeholder use. The infographics were developed by repurposing content from existing Canada Beef resources and adapting new information from the Canadian Roundtable for Sustainable Beef’s recently released National Beef Sustainability Assessment (NBSA). Categorized by theme (Nutrition, Sustainability, Biodiversity, Environmental) the 17 standalone infographic files are sized for print and digital publications and social media use. Each set of infographics has a different look and feel. The nutrition infographics (7) were adapted from Canada Beef’s 20 Reasons banner information. The sustainability infographics (2) stem from the banner and reflect the latest data from the NBSA. The biodiversity and environmental infographics (8) were created from the data from the NBSA. Citations, footnotes and other source attributions are included for reference. Stakeholders can find the series of infographics in the Canada Beef Marketing Library listed by theme under the heading Stakeholder Infographics [theme] 2024. Look for the zip folder which contains all the infographics for each theme. By Gina Teel, Director, Stakeholder Communications Back to main page GINA TEEL Director, Stakeholder Communications |
