 Canada Beef Export Webinar for the Canadian Trade Commissioner Service Canada Beef delivered two webinars to 72 trade commissioners and provincial trade representatives responsible for the agriculture and agri-food files in offices worldwide. The webinars provided up-to-date information about Canada Beef, the Canadian beef industry, Canadian beef market access, Canadian beef exports, generic and cost-shared Canada Beef Export Market Development programs and potential opportunities for future collaboration. The Canadian Trade Commissioner Service (TCS) is a network of more than 1,000 trade professionals working in Canadian embassies, high commissions, and consulates located in over 160 cities worldwide and with offices across Canada. The TCS helps qualified Canadian businesses prepare for international markets, assess potential markets, find qualified contacts, and resolve business problems. The webinars took place on May 23 and 24 with the support of the TCS regional office in Alberta. All invitees, including those who could not attend, were provided with a PDF version of the presentation for future reference following the virtual sessions. The presentation also shared links to web pages where educational videos, online training and other digital resources and information available from Canada Beef can be accessed. Canada Beef collaborates with the TCS on various marketing initiatives promoting Canadian beef and other Canadian food products in many different international markets. This collaboration has been mutually beneficial, resulting in the completion of many successful marketing initiatives over the years.
