Digital Resources (Videos)
CBCE is embracing the current need for digital training resources and increased distance learning opportunities. The team is working to produce a technical video library aimed at teaching foundational and innovative skills to industry professionals and Canadian beef enthusiasts. From sub-primal butchery to grilling and roasting know-how, the CBCE team leverages their expertise to optimize Canadian beef product performance and deliver exceptional eating experience.

The videos will be available on the new cdnbeefperforms.ca website beginning in June 2020.

Canadian Beef Centre of Excellence Engaging and Informing 4-H Market Beef Buyers

The online conference was offered to 4H members in preparation for the annual marketing of their own calf animal. More than 25 young producer 4H members from across Alberta and Saskatchewan attended the conference on Zoom. Comments from 4H Specialist Alexia Hoy noted that attendance was strong and that the content was well appreciated by the members.

CBCE Executive Director Mathieu Paré presented to Western Canadian 4H Members on beef cuts and culinary considerations as well as CB resources for beef marketers and consumers.

The conference engaged young producers to connect with Canada Beef and the CBCE and increased knowledge of carcass for optimized value, utilization and consumer experience. It also enhanced awareness of valuable marketing and training resources available through Canada Beef website.
