Retail sales grew 34.2% year-on-year in March, up from 33.8% in the January-February period. Offline consumption activities rebounded in March, as the catering sector revenue posted positive growth compared with the same period in 2019, the first time since the COVID-19 outbreak. In Hong Kong, the government has loosened the social distancing policy in step with the pandemic situation being under control.
