![]() Readers who follow Canada Beef on social media may have noticed changes to the X and Facebook accounts made recently to better serve Canada’s beef cattle farmers and ranchers. On April 1, Canada Beef amalgamated both of its X accounts to @CanadaBeefInc, tooled specifically for a beef producer and industry stakeholder audience. Additionally, oversight of @CanadaBeefInc and the producer Facebook channel @CanadaBeefInc was transitioned to Canada Beef’s Stakeholder Communications department. Social media is a key focus area for Canada Beef as it seeks to foster meaningful engagement and thoughtful discourse with followers. Transitioning the management of the producer social media channels to Stakeholder Communications will ensure the unique information needs of producers and stakeholders are being met on these platforms. Content for @CanadaBeefInc will focus on pertinent information for stakeholders and timely updates on activities underway at Canada Beef to increase demand for Canadian beef at home and abroad while ensuring maximum value for producer dollars. Images will run the gamut from Canada Beef activities and events to on-farm scenic snaps and more. The mix of information and imagery on these accounts will be fine-tuned over time to ensure continued relevancy with these followers. Be sure to follow us on the producer handle @CanadaBeefInc on X and Facebook for the latest information. Back to main page ![]() GINA TEEL Director, Stakeholder Communications |
