![]() Best of Beef nutrition booklet launched Canada Beef’s Health and Nutrition team recently launched a new consumer nutrition brochure titled Best of Beef. The booklet shares nutritional information to highlight beef as a nutritional superstar contributing to health and wellness. ![]() Two booklet versions were created: one specific to Canada and one that can be adapted for international markets. The difference between the two books is the use of Daily Value Percentages (%DV) for nutrients, which are used in the Canadian version, along with a QR code linking to the Canadian Beef Information Gateway. The nutrients in the international version are expressed in absolute values. International offices are welcome to add a custom QR code that is appropriate for the market. ![]() This booklet ensures that all markets serviced by Canada Beef have the same nutrition messaging, guaranteeing consistency in all collective communications and the use of fact-based information. Each market is welcome to use the content as long as the integrity of the references is maintained. They can also change the images to better suit their audiences and markets. As with all resources, the claims are referenced and evidence based. This resource's references reflect a global perspective, using citations from the World Health Organization and the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations. This resource will also be referenced in Canada Beef’s global consumer Canadian Beef Attributes brochure to support those interested in more information about nutrition and beef. You can view the Canadian version of the brochure here. Both versions are available at the Canada Beef Marketing Library: the Canadian version (ML#13289) and the International version (ML#13290).
