Canadian Angus Association visits CBCE
Canada Beef and the Canadian Beef Centre of Excellence (CBCE) recently welcomed the Canadian Angus Association staff and Directors to the Centre for a day of information-sharing.

Canada Beef staff presentations included:
  • A global market update from Canada Beef President Michael Young.
  • An update on the Canadian Beef Information Gateway and global marketing from Executive Vice President Mark Klassen.
  • An overview of export markets from Executive Director of Export Market Development Albert Eringfeld.
  • CBCE Executive Director Mathieu Paré provided an overview of the Centre, and this was followed by a tour of the Centre studios led by the Director of CBCE Studios, Cameron Pappel.




The Canadian Angus Association is an important Canadian beef industry partner and producer association. The meeting provided the opportunity to share information about a number of Canada Beef programs and services that can be leveraged to promote premium quality Canadian beef products. During the meeting, partner program opportunities available for export market development (EMD Partner Program) and media production (CBCE Partner Programs) were also explored.
