 Canadian Beef Co-Branding initiative with Heritage Beef Harmony Beef of Rocky View County, Alberta worked with Canada Beef on the development of a brochure for their new Heritage Beef brand. The product is available for both domestic and export markets. Co-Branding initiative with Pre Pak Meats Canada Beef worked with Pre Pak Meats of Calgary, AB under partner program guidelines to co-brand and print the retailer Canadian beef merchandising guide wall chart. The chart is distributed as a value-added resource for Pre Pak’s foodservice and retail customers across Alberta. Associated Grocer distributes retail Beef Cuts Merchandising Wall Chart Associated Grocers will distribute the Canada Beef retail Beef Cuts Merchandising chart to their customers. Providing customers with this type of information will expand retailer’s knowledge of the variety of cuts available from the carcass. Independent Retail Operator Program (IROP) Advertising The IROP program is advertised on the back cover of Western Grocer magazine’s January/February issue to promote the kit to independent and smaller multi-unit retail groups. Annual Beef Industry Convention participation The Ontario Cattle Feeders’ Association and the Ontario Corn Fed Beef program held their 22nd Annual Beef Industry Convention in London, Ontario January 9 – 11, 2020. The convention brings together different sectors of the beef industry including farmers, cow-calf operators, backgrounders, feeders, producers and packers. Representatives from Ontario Corn Fed Beef demonstrated the strength and success of the brand through Japanese Retail Partner, Kinsho Stores. Canada Beef’s team participated at the event with a Gold Sponsorship which provided the opportunity to share Canada Beef’s marketing efforts with beef industry producers and to help them understand the role that Canada Beef plays in getting their beef to the customer.
