![]() CBCE supports inbound export market development initiatives The Canadian Beef Centre of Excellence (CBCE) collaborates with Canada Beef’s Export Market Development (EMD) team to provide product familiarization workshops to partners visiting Canada on inbound trade missions. These partners include buyers, distributors, and retail and foodservice operators. During October and November 2024, the CBCE presented several workshops to partners visiting Canada from major export markets in Latin America and Asia. ![]() The workshops feature a comprehensive overview of the Canadian Beef Advantage (CBA). These familiarizations also include butchery demonstrations and product samplings that showcase Canadian beef's differentiating attributes and versatility to broaden utilization. The CBCE works closely with Canada Beef's EMD teams to develop new opportunities for Canadian beef in partner markets. The workshops were enhanced by CBCE’s sophisticated visual displays and audio equipment, which now offers a simultaneous translation capability to deliver seamless communication to export market partners; this newly available tool was offered for the first time in November 2024.
