Delegation from Vietnam participates in trade mission to Canada
Canada Beef International Institute (CBII) Taiwan and the representative office in Vietnam collaborated with a Canadian beef import client from Vietnam to facilitate a trade mission to Canada. The June trip included representatives from the Vietnamese importer and their local food industry clients from the retail, import and food distribution sectors. Delegates gained extensive insight into the Canadian beef industry through beef-related activities, cattle ranch and feedlot tours, and visits to beef processors.





The participants also visited the Canadian Beef Centre of Excellence and participated in Canadian beef industry presentations and a Canadian beef tasting session.

The mission gave CBII Taiwan’s strategic partners in Vietnam a positive impression of the Canadian beef industry and strengthened the business relationships among the Vietnamese importer’s major clients.


The trade mission helped to support the growth of new Canadian beef sales and enhanced awareness of Canadian beef with key partners in the Vietnamese market.

The mission was supported on a cost-shared basis by Canada Beef’s Export Market Development (EMD) partner program.

Canada Beef shines at FOOD TAIPEI 2024 trade show
In June, Canada Beef showcased its high-quality beef products in three booths at FOOD TAIPEI 2024. Over 50,000 visitors attended the four-day trade show.

 

CBII Taiwan’s participation at the show aimed to expand awareness, generate sales, and foster relationships with clients in Taiwan. Visitors and distributors could sample seven Canadian beef products and experience the diverse flavours of different beef cuts. Informational brochures and resources were distributed alongside networking and sales discussions.

The positive feedback from visitors to the Canada Beef booth was overwhelming, solidifying the brand's reputation for excellence. Canada Beef's participation at FOOD TAIPEI 2024 successfully boosted brand recognition and established strong connections.
