 Canada Beef participated in the 2023 Calgary Stampede held July 7-16, taking part in the Brandt Cattle Trail alongside provincial and national industry partners. The Brandt Cattle Trail featured a live exhibition of beef cattle, enhanced by informative displays about the industry and beef production programs. Visitors journeyed through the product lifecycle of beef, exploring everything from the science of beef cattle genetics to understanding the different cuts of beef they see on their dinner table. Canada Beef’s participation in the Brandt Cattle Trail provided the opportunity to connect and engage with Stampede attendees and answer their questions about beef. The thousands of visitors who came by the Canada Beef booth had the chance to learn more about beef cuts and where they come from, take home the Canadian beef handbook, have a virtual tour of the Canadian Beef Information Gateway, engage in interactive demonstrations, watch informative and entertaining videos, and enter to win a Green Egg BBQ.   The Brandt Cattle Trail is presented by the Calgary Stampede Agri-Food Committee and the Calgary Stampede Beef Cattle Sub-Committee. Back to main page |
