Canada Beef extends warm congratulations to Calgary steakhouse Major Tom, named Best New Restaurant 2022 at the Canada’s 100 Best Awards.

Major Tom is described as an “…audacious see-and-be-seen high-end hot spot,’ set on the 40th floor of Stephen Avenue Place that features a “…winning combination of contemporary dishes and classic steak-house fare.”

Canada Beef is thrilled that the unique steakhouse winning rave reviews from guests and boasting a waiting list of several months made the cut in the national competition. “We are absolutely delighted to have a fabulous steakhouse voted best new restaurant,” said Michele McAdoo, Executive Director Digital Marketing, Canada Beef, who attended the awards ceremony in Toronto.

Canada’s 100 Best restaurants brand is the voice of the Canadian culinary industry, from top-level restaurant owners/chefs across the country and high-end consumers who spend more than average on fine food/wine/alcohol beverages, fine dining experiences at home and in restaurants. The annual Canada’s 100 Best Restaurants list is viewed as the definitive ranking of Canada’s restaurants.

Canada Beef, a long-time supporter of the Canada’s 100 Best competition’s Most Innovative Chef category, switched things up in 2022 and sponsored the Best New Restaurant category.

Canada Beef’s sponsor package included a print ad, digital ads and web article. Canada Beef created a consumer facing advertisement about beef grading, while the team at Canada’s 100 Best asked two Canadian beef farmers questions that consumers might ask them, for the web article.

Canada`s 100 Best has national distribution for its print and digital editions with combined total national circulation of over 974,000 copies per issue. The publication is provided to AMEX card members, a key consumer audience for Canada Beef.
