 Canada Beef at Gulfood 2025 Canada Beef supported Canadian beef suppliers and their local distributors to participate in the Gulfood 2025 show in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE), February 17-21, 2025.   In addition to supporting several companies to exhibit at the show via the Export Market Development Partner Program, Canada Beef coordinated a Canadian Beef Experience event that showcased the qualities and attributes of Canadian beef to key retailers, restaurant and hotel chains as well as food industry influencers from the UAE and broader Gulf region. Local chefs prepared eight unique and expertly created Canadian beef dishes for the enjoyment of 120 guests. The Honourable Daryl Harrison, Saskatchewan’s Minister of Agriculture - a beef rancher himself - attended the event as part of his trade mission to India and the UAE which helped to further support the efforts of market development and diversification for the Canadian beef industry in the region. Representatives from three Canadian beef suppliers attended and provided remarks about their respective Canadian beef programs. View a video for the event: The Gulf region of the Middle East is a growing and premium market for Canadian beef exports, with new market access achieved recently in a number of these countries during the last few years, offering new market diversification opportunities. Growing populations and higher disposable incomes are opening new doors for Canadian beef in the premium foodservice and retail sectors.
